Jesse Starger is a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. His research interests include transport phenomena, renewable energy, and biotechnology. He is currently studying the slot-die coating process for perovskites to enable cheaper and more efficient solar cells. He received his BS in chemical engineering from Tufts University in 2016. From 2017-2020 he worked at Moderna researching lipid nanoparticles for drug delivery.
